Kristina L Smith , 42, passed away Saturday, August 5, 2017 at her home in Fort Wayne. Born in Pensacola, FL, Kristina was a 1993 graduate from Snider HS and earned her associates degree from Ivy Tech and her bachelors from Indiana Tech. She worked from home as a Medical Coder with Nicka and Associates of TX for many years. She was a craft enthusiast and loved scrap booking, making detailed drawings using Copic markers, she also made soaps, candles and lotions. Kristina loved Broadway musicals and had written and submitted a musical for consideration. Her passion was her family and spending time with her daughter. Surviving are her husband, Aaron J Smith of Fort Wayne, IN; father, Gordon (Barbara) Mattoon of Fort Wayne, IN; mother, Joannie Baston Mattoon of Fort Wayne, IN; brother, James Richard Mattoon of CA; daughter, Zoe Smith of Fort Wayne, IN; great-grandmother, Beatrice Baston of AL. and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Memorial calling will be on Saturday, August 12, 2017, from 3:00 pm - 6:00 pm at D.O. McComb and Sons Funeral Home 1140 Lake Ave Fort Wayne, IN.
