James Dennis King, 70, passed away January 1, 2018. He was born in Kenton, OH on April 21, 1947 the son of the late William and Lillian King. James worked as a mechanical engineer at Magnavox/RCA before his retirement. He enjoyed spoonplug fishing, and was a founding member of the Northern Indiana Spoonplug Association of America. He loved playing pool at the Olive Club where he was a member, and was a gun enthusiast. More than anything, he enjoyed spending time with his family. Surviving are his children; Tiesha (Sean Peters) King, James "Jim" (Amy) King Jr., Mike Stratmeier, Heather (Nathan) Enslen; and 12 grandchildren. A gathering of friends and family will be held from 5-7pm Saturday, January 13, 2018 at 125 W. Main St. Fort Wayne, IN 46802. Arrangements by D.O. McComb and Sons Lakeside Park Chapel.
